Shilo Sanders works out with 49ers weeks after Buccaneers release.pi

Shilo Sanders is still trying to stick around in the NFL.

The University of Colorado product worked out for the 49ers at their practice facility on Tuesday, NBC Sports Bay Area first reported.

The son of Pro Football Hall of Famer — and Buffaloes coach — Deion Sanders was one of six players to visit the 49ers for a tryout.

The workout for the defensive back comes after star pass rusher Nick Bosa suffered a season-ending ACL tear in the 49ers’ win over the Cardinals on Sunday.

San Francisco signed lineman William Bradley-King, who was with the Niners during the preseason, to the practice squad.

Sanders went undrafted out of Colorado, but was signed by the Buccaneers before he was eventually cut after an eventful preseason in which he was fined for punching a Bills player during a game.

There have been questions about what would come next for Sanders after his time with the Bucs came to an abrupt end.

His father said during a recent episode of the “Colorado Football Coaches Show” that he thought life would be taking Shilo in a different direction.

“I was gonna go down that [acting] avenue once upon a time. I think that’s the avenue that … or streaming … that Shilo’s gonna go down, because he has that gift, man,” Deion said on Thursday’s show.
