After receiving a distress call, Animal Aid Unlimited India sprang into action. “We got a report from someone who heard a puppy crying out in pain,” the organization shared on their YouTube channel.
Upon arrival, they discovered the puppy in a gutter, visibly distressed.
Initially uncertain about the cause of the puppy’s cries, the rescuers soon identified several serious wounds on his leg.
“We immediately transported him to Animal Aid’s hospital, where he was treated for pain and infection,” they continued, adding that the wounds were carefully cleaned and stitched up.
Thanks to dedicated medical care and rest, the puppy, whom they named Felix, showed significant improvement in just two weeks.
The love and attention he received played a vital role in his transformation. “In less than a fortnight, Felix overcame his fears and blossomed into an affectionate little companion,” the rescuers reported.
